‘I… I DON’T THINK…’” — his voice trailing, uncertain, caught on police bodycam — a moment that says more than any statement ever could. This wasn’t the Tiger Woods the world once feared on the course… this was a legend lost in the aftermath of another crash, another night that spiraled out of control. Now, behind the scenes, the truth cuts even deeper. Sources say he is “ashamed” and “embarrassed,” fully aware of what this moment represents — not just a single mistake, but a painful return to a pattern he’s tried to escape for years. Pills found, prosecutors digging into his prescriptions, questions mounting with every detail uncovered. From dominance to damage control, from history-making wins to haunting repeats of the past — this isn’t just a fall, it’s a cycle. And as Tiger himself struggles to find the words… the silence around him is louder than ever.

Tiger Woods is both ’embarrassed and ashamed’ over his latest rollover crash, a source with knowledge of his thinking told People.com after his DUI arrest in Florida.

‘Tiger can be defensive at times but he was embarrassed and ashamed at the latest accident,’ the source said. ‘He wants to fix his problems.

‘There is nobody more interested in seeing Tiger come out a winner again than Tiger.

‘He doesn’t do well with defeat and embarrassing public situations.’

Meanwhile, prosecutors in Florida have requested access to Woods’ medical records.

Woods, 50, is believed to be in Switzerland seeking professional help following his arrest in late March for driving under influence after rolling his car near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida.

As previously reported by the New York Post, Woods’s pharmacy was asked by prosecutors to provide details about every prescription drug he was given. The Post said prosecutors want to learn if Woods had any warnings not to drive when he was taking the medication.

The report quoted a subpoena from Martin County in Florida requesting the ‘date and time prescription was filled, type of prescription, number of pills in each prescription, the dosage amount, and all special instructions.’

Woods was arrested near his Jupiter, Florida home on March 27 after rolling his SUV. Although he passed a Breathalyzer test at the scene of the crash, officers said he was traveling at ‘high speeds’ and ‘showed signs of impairment,’ including ‘bloodshot and glassy’ eyes with ‘extremely dilated pupils.’

A deputy found two white pills on Woods, which have since been identified as the opioid hydrocodone. Woods later refused to take a urine test resulting in his arrest and has since pleaded not guilty to a DUI charge.

In bodycam footage, the five-time Masters winner told police that he was ‘hoping to’ play in the Masters – but that it ‘depends on y’all.’

The crash took place just days after Woods took part in the final day of the TGL virtual golf league. It was the first competitive golf he played since July of 2024 following a series of injury setbacks.

This was not Woods’s first issue behind the wheel. He was arrested for another DUI in 2017 after police found him slumped in his car in Florida with five drugs in his system, including two painkillers.

Woods was later involved in a similar crash in 2021 in California, which shattered his right leg after he was trapped under the vehicle. He needed multiple surgeries in order to recover from his injuries.

He also crashed into a fire hydrant in November 2009 as he tried to flee his Florida home after wife Elin Nordegren discovered he had been having an affair. It sparked an unraveling of his reputation that he has never truly recovered from.
