His is not a drill! Netflix’s hit comedy-drama, Running Point, is finally back on our TV screens after over a year’s wait – and if you’ve not yet tuned into the Kate Hudson-starring series, you’re in for a treat!

If, like me, you love light-hearted comedies like Ted Lasso and New Girl, it’s worth checking out Running Point.
The series follows LA executive Isla Gordon, who is unexpectedly appointed the head of her family’s professional basketball team, the Los Angeles Waves. All she has to do is prove to her sceptical brothers, the board, and the larger sports community that she’s the right woman for the job.

Season two picks up where season one left off, with the surprise return of Isla’s older brother and ex-president Cam (Justin Theroux).

What to expect from season two
In the new episodes, Isla is no longer the surprise choice to lead the Los Angeles Waves. With the franchise finally rebounding, Isla is determined to prove she’s not simply her brother’s replacement.
A synopsis reads: “What she doesn’t know is that Cam is quietly manoeuvring behind the scenes to reclaim his post, turning every misstep into ammunition.

What have viewers said about Running Point?
Viewers have hailed the series as “excellent” and a “must-watch”.
Taking to social media following the release of season one, one person wrote: “I just finished binge watching Running Point. It’s really good.
