George Kittle Takes a Shot at Brandon Aiyuk
The drama surrounding Aiyuk has been building for months. The star wide receiver recently posted a video on social media in which he could be heard yelling, “Go Commanders!” — a message that many interpreted as another attempt to make it known where he’d like to play if the 49ers eventually move on from him.
Washington has long been rumored as Aiyuk’s preferred landing spot, and his recent social media activity has only further fueled those rumors. While discussing various topics during his podcast appearance, Kittle was asked about the ongoing situation involving Aiyuk. Rather than offering a strong defense of his teammate, the All-Pro tight end delivered comments that came across as playful but clearly sarcastic. He said, “You have fun with all that comes with it,” in response to a team trading for or signing Aiyuk.
