As adults, I think most of us can attest that the sight of children playing is one of the happiest sights there is. Watching children play can bring back memories of our own childhood, which (through the rose-colored glasses of age) we tend to associate with happy and carefree times. Additionally, seeing children having fun and enjoying themselves can create positive feelings in adults, such as joy, amusement, and a sense of warmth.

Furthermore, research suggests that watching children play can have a positive impact on adults’ mood and well-being. For example, studies have shown that interacting with children can reduce stress and increase feelings of happiness and contentment.

But sometimes, we can get so happy that it nearly overwhelms us. And that’s what happens in this video: the judges get so happy watching the Flakefleet Primary School choir audition–which is basically the recreation of a wild and happy school recess on a playground–that they cant help but break down into tears.

Initially, it resembles a singing act but soon expands to much more than that. “That was absolute chaos and absolute joy,” said judge Alesha Dixon. “You’re just one of the most joyous things I’ve ever seen,” said David Williams–right before he presses the revered Golden Buzzer to send them through to the semi-finals! I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. Watch the full video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!
